fixed cable entry what a revolutionary idea,
except the gravity dropper post has been doing it for about 4 years or so!!!!!!!!!!
about freakin time!
looks brilliant just needs a belt drive and we'll be making some progress!
good article in dirth this month about the joke of multiple industry 'standards'
what bugs me just as much is why measurements switch between imperial units and metric, ffs this isnt the 18th century just give me everything in metric thanks you can keep your inches, pounds, bushels, cubits and shekels
best ride in the world !!! well that ive done
this year was less climbing than previous years but still brutal
and nico V is a great guy we were on an uplift from the bottom of the valley with him one day, not only did he have time to chat but his bike was one of the first on the trailer and after hed unloaded it he helped unload every other bike on there, which was nicer than most other riders there especially when my kona stinky weighs a shedload more than his carbon lapiere!
cb pedals are great if you only ride in dry dusty arizona
well the mallets/acids/egg beaters are excellent pedals but the bearings dont last long if you ride in a lot of mud and rain i commute on candys daily and they last abouta year before disintegrating, shimano ones last much longer theyre just not as nice
ive ridden mallets for years as my dh pedals but after the 3rd set of bearings ive got bored and gone to superstar nanos, which cost 1/3rd of teh price of 50/50s and so far have lasted to very well in the mud
as someone with a broken heel and ankle im wishing chris all the best
comming from riding every day to 12 weeks on my ass & who knows when i can ride again (im still praying ill be fit for megavalanche but the odds are slim)
enough about me keep your chin up chris hopefully psn will be back up soon that'll see you through
great to see aframe only option at a realistic price these could sell very well
what they need is dh rider getting them world cup podiums to show it off
i like the fact that the shock and linkage are inside the front triangle, a lot of frames seem to have complicated linkages and shocks positioned just next to the rear wheel to collect as much mud and crap as possible!
I'm a big fan of crank bros pedals they look feel and function brilliantly
BUT
the constantly disintegrating bearings are a joke and really a massive design flaw which considering the price you pay is crap
ive seen a fully cast proto of this

its tyre, i tire of reading tire
these look great still no spine protector for 2011 though :-(
and i be happy with a plastic shoulder pad too, as in big crashes thats where ive taken the brunt of impacts
gutted i cant make it
please organise another one
